I need some bug zapping tips!? I would like some help to find a schematic for a bug zapper racket please! Would really appreciate all help :)
Have you ever seen a hand held bug zapper? My daughter and I was shopping one day and saw this thing that looked like a tennis racket. It was blue on the outside, white on the inside with a black handle. It is battery operated and they are included with it. The batteries do last a long time. My daughter and I uses our bug zapper a lot around here. It will get mosquitos, millers, flies, etc. My daughter (23 years old) did shock herself with mine, but the only way you can get shocked with it is by sticking your finger in between the little white rods and hit the wire behide them. That is what she did just to see what it felt like. Needless to say, she found out real quick, but that wasn't good enough, she had to do it a second time. They were bought in a store near us called Linens & Things. They do not have a light in them at all except for a tiny red light to let you know if the battery is working or not.The only time that red light is on is when you are pushing 2 buttons, one on each side of the handle.

can i damage a circut by giving it to many volts? i'm using a racket bug zapper and i was wondering if i could increase the output power/volts of the zapper buy attaching an extra battery or 2. in series connection. so taking 2 AA 1.5v batteries and attaching another 2 AA's. and what would happen if i wheere to use 2 D's instead. am i risking damaging my circut. will i get a power increase. i want to increase the zapping power. and i want to only haft to change the batteries. is it pointless attaching extra batties
After mosquitoes does whenever I swat them or get them zapped with a mosquito light,...? ,..did they make sure to accept Lord Jesus Christ as their savior before they died? And will they go to Heaven as a result and worship God and Jesus in their own mosquito language and body language? Also, I bought an electric tennis bug zapper racket and zapped a house fly with it recently(you press a button and it metal tennis racket net in the middle electrifies and it you hit an insect with it it zaps it and does it loudly like a mosquito light). Did they house fly also first accept Lord Jesus Christ as its personal savior before I zapped and killed it?

Have you ever encountered a solder job so bad (needs help with resistor)? I have this bug zapper in the shape of a tennis racket and I was going to modify the circuit for my science fair project (can't say what it is but its related to EMP devices). I opened up this tennis racket bug zapper and the circuit board is what u might see in some 80's electronics (sorta strange but its cheaper and easier to work on) but who ever soldered had decent joints and such but there was solder on the actual insulation on the capacitors and resistors and such. I just decided not to mess with it and de-soldered the wires that were to the metal net and soldered on a coil. I go to use my newly modified circuit and a resistor goes up in sparks. I'm not too familiar with codings on resistors but i can tell u its a light blue resistor with bands going gold, brownish red, purple then brown. What one is this and where can i buy it?
is 2300 voltage deadly or dangerous at all? it is a bug zapper shaped like a tennis racket so you can wave it around and zap all the bugs. but if i accidently swung it at me or my brother....what kinds of injuries would there be?
can i use steel wool to make a bb/pellet/airsoft gun? i want to make a gun were electricity runs through steel wool causeing it to burn up quickly/explode and shoot ammo through a small tube. to ignite i wanna use a disposeable camera flash board. i was thinking of wireing it so instead of it flashing it electricity runs through the wool or wireing it to the campasitor. i also have one of those bug zapper tenis racket things that i might use. will the wool burn, how will it burn, how fast, will it shoot something, how hard will it shoot, if i make the barrel and combustion chamber out of plastic and ruber will it melt, what is the best method to ignite it, and wht are other ways to ignite it. pleasetell me all you know. ps if you correct my grammer or one ofe my 12!!!!!!!!!! spelling mstakes m going to be under you bed : )
Have you ever witnessed a natural phenomenon that gave you a spiritual feeling? I just did. I was trying to zap a pesky June bug with a bug zapper shaped like a tennis racket. I held the zapper under the flying June bug and it just kept flying frantically upward. Until it got caught in midair. Right next to it was a daddy long legs spider. The bug I was trying to electrocute was stuck in a spiderweb. As much as it struggled it could not shake free from silky trap. The spider raced down to its pray and methodically wound silk around the victim. Just as skilled, if not more so, than any talented human weaver. I just stood there in awe. I had my human brains and technological weapon and yet I got schooled by a daddy long legs. I bet the poor June bug is wishing he had been zapped though, because he's still struggling to get out of that web. Who knows how long it'll take for him to die. But hey, the circle of life goes on. Evolution is so cool. And Gyl, no. I'm a strait chick with a boyfriend of a year and a half. I'm waiting for him to get home from work, and I'm watching my dachshund puppy. straight, not strait the silky trap & prey, not pray sorry
What kind of spider makes a cocoon like a butterfly or moth would? i have been noticing this dark shape of an oval like thing in the curtain by our bed. i thought "leave it alone, it's just a moth or butterfly. and i don't want to hurt a baby catepillar." but curiousity got me today and i checked it out closer. it had a hole at the top of it, maybe bottom a lil. then i seen legs... it didn't move at first. i didn't see wings or 6 skinny legs like a bug, i seen 8 hairy legs. they started to move. it was a big spider in it. so i take the whole thing to the bathroom, try to picture it but the picture don't come out good as my eyes see it and then i put this electric bug zapper that looks like a tennis racket to it hit it till it's flat then out secretes like reddish stuff like it's a tic that sucked our blood. the zapper flattens the spider same as it opens up the web for viewing and it's a very big spider. very fat too and very hairy. no clue what kind it is. then i like made sure it was dead first by spraying perfume at it so it has had it's last dying breath and the red stuff turns orange then develops ball shapes then i think it's eggs. i then spray water to it down the sink, the flat spider goes easy but the web don't. and the orange eggs. what spider makes orange eggs? was it pregnant spider or just one guarding the eggs already out of it? i stop the water cuz it's not budging so i use toilet paper. with that, they truly look like well-developed spider eggs. so i clean the whole area and drop toilet paper with it in toilet. i check the whole curtain over for other spiders. cuz i was thinking if there was that one with baby eggs, there may be another. not sure if it's poisonous or not but it could easily bite me or my boyfriend in my sleep and it would hurt. i thought the red stuff was poison at first lol. but that was too big of a spider to make babies cuz there were many many eggs all together and it would be harder taking care of them for us to find and kill them before we get bit. him and i have been having sleep disturbances and that kinda spider so close to us in our sleep could have bitten us already and i sleep by the wall for him to get room. so, do you know what kind of spider would be like that? ok. i don't think it bitten us cuz i did some more looking.. may been a sac spider don't say it's poisionous or not but could give u muscle pain or joint pain and the bite is painless. it can bite people when they are asleep. but most pictures of it show it light colored and not fat. mine was dark brown colored and fat. it was more hairy too. i hope it wasn't a brown widow but it's different than that too, lol. so i guess that turns the question to ur experience with a spider like this and what u thought of it. cuz i ain't deleting it, lol. unless u wanna smart talk me about bs. go ahead, i dare ya. my fiance and i never saw a spider bite on us. but at least we dont' have to get one like it has in those pictures of sac spider bites. ok. i read some of one site not all, searched just the spider name one site told me the bite of a sac spider is painless like u don't feel it. but the first site said: The spider in question may be the sac spider. "These spiders hide in silken tubes or sacs that resemble cocoons during the day and hunt at night. They will bite humans even when unprovoked. These bites are rather painful, but generally not life-threatening." Thaks Pamela! http://www.newton.dep.anl.gov/askasci/zoo00/zoo00485.htm do u think it's a sac spider the way i described it? the sac was white sorta like a tunnel or cocoon. it was pretty big to be in their. lol. it took up 1/3 of the room in their.
