What kind of battery do I use for a homemade rat zapper? I'm building a simple rat zapper which will kill the rat when stepped on. I'm going to use 2 metal plates barely touching, and they will be wired to a battery. What's a good battery or batteries that is enough to kill the rat? I have a car battery but I think it's too much. Please no comments about killing animals being bad. These bastards are smart, traps and bait don't work.

How to make a simple rat zapper / electric rat killer? I've lots of rats here biting all my goods (I own a small store), I've used regular trap, glue trap, poison etc. It seems that electric rat trap kills rats 'with less pain' compared to other kind of trap. Honestly, If I didn't keep 'clearing' the rats, more goods will be bitten and bigger loss will happen to my store. Catching and releasing rats are not good idea in my city, there are many rats here and the only way to prevent diseases brought by rat and reduce number of bitten goods is by making them 'disappear forever'. Let's start by eliminating the worst way to kill rats & mice. Rat poison may seem like the easiest way, toss out some poison and wait. It is actually the worst way. The rat or mouse will die a slow painful death and it may die in your wall. You will then die from the smell for a week or so. Worse yet is that the mouse or rat will become very sluggish while it is dying. This makes it easy for cats, dogs, or birds to catch and eat. You don't want a cat or dog to die or get sick from eating a poisoned rodent. I tried traps and the rodents kept springing them without getting caught which is probably just as well since I really didn't want to have to pick up the bloody mess. I bought some glue traps and then read on the box how you are supposed to drown them after they get stuck in it. No thank you, I don't want to pick up a live rodent stuck in glue! Finally I found the best solution, the Rat Zapper. I caught this big rat the second night I put the Rat Zapper out and it zapped him dead. We set up some rat zappers in the warehouse where I work and caught a rat the second and third night. The rat zapper makes a gross job easier for the squemish. I wondered before I bought the Rat Zapper if my dog or the neighbors cat could stick their nose or paw in there and get zapped. I used Science Diet dog food for bait because that is what I had available, I have heard that Meow Mix is the rats favorite though. Place some food all the way by the back plate and place some closer to the front to lure the rat or mouse inside. Place the unit where you want it and turn it on. The red light on top will flash once to let you know you have power. When Mr. Rat heads to the back of the unit and steps on the hot plate, it will zap him dead with 30,000 volts. It works like a stun gun, high voltage and low amps. It is designed not to kill anything that can't fit in the chamber. Once you have killed your rat or mouse a light will flash on the top to let you know he is in there, you don't have to pick it up and look if the light is not flashing. Once you have caught Mr. Rat all you need to do is dump him in the trash or bury him. If it's not garbage day I suggest you bury him before he starts to stink. Pouring bleach on him to kill the germs is also a good idea. Now reset your Rat Zapper and see if you can catch his brother. He would be cute if it wasn't for that tail, something about that tail totally grosses me out. Looks like he has blue eyes, but surely not. getting rid of mice one and for all? I live in the Ontario canada it is getting cold here now so the mice are coming in the house to get warm I have killed 17 mice in the last week which included 9 in the last 24 hours. I can not get a cat as I have 2 puppies already someone told me about the rat-zapper but it is not available here in ontario. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestion on getting rid of mice once and for all . something that will not put my puppies in harms way. I have the biggest fear of mice to the point I actually get ill when I hear the trap go off or when I see one. someone please help I can not take much more of this. I thought it sounded great and i would catch the mouse for sure. I mixed peanut butter mixed with crushed walnuts and bread. well half of it was gone today and no dead mouse. Then my monsters focus on swarming and attack fast, so basically the field will look like this on my 8th turn, My opponents field is empty, my field has alot of small monsters that will finish my opponent in 2 turns.

What can i do to improve my deck? Well i use my deck to clear field and attack directly. For example i use the tuner to set my oppenents monster into def position to allow my monster to take them out. Most likely the def isnt as high as 2000. and i use effect of matchless and rahz to get the monsters i need. i have stop cards like negate spell shadow to keep my goblins out a little longer if marauding isnt there.
