would a electric fly swatter super charged kill you?
i took apart an electric fly swatter and added a 3.7v battery and i think the capacitor is blown and it is just giving a constant current out of the transformer and when i hold the two wires together an arc forms?, would this kill you?

- Typically it takes at least 10 ma to kill a person. Most small transformers will not provide that much current through a human body.
- Probably not. But if you really wanted to, and placed the wires in exactly the right spots on your body, you absolutely could. There's a famous story about a sailor playing with electricity who killed himself with a 9-volt battery. Here's the story: http://www.darwinawards.com/darwin/darwin1999-50.html
