Any home remedies to create Mosquito killer traps?

Instead of buying anything, is there any traps I could make if I were to put blood in it? And do mosquitos go to warm blood, or any blood in general?

1. Mosquitoes will not be attracted to blood at all, they are attracted to the carbon monoxide given off from people as we breath. One way to help prevent mosquitoes is to make sure you have NO standing water of any kind around your place as they will continue to breed there. They also breed in the damp grass of a lawn. You may want to Google Mosquitoes on the internet, there is a world of information given about them that just might be helpful to you.
2. Old timers remedy is to take 1/4 teaspoon of "powders of sulfur" (which you can purchase at any drug store over the counter) in the springtime or early summer. You can also rub this powder on your body to keep them away. And they go for warm blood. (The remedy above also keeps other such as ticks and fleas from biting you). My entire family (even grandchildren who play outdoors a lot) we all take this and it seems to work very well with No harm.
